Lonely Planet TV chooses an Escape campervan as feature for the TV series Six Degrees

The Escape campervan team are very pleased that Lonely Planet TV chose an Escape camper for their latest show featuring Auckland New Zealand.

The crew took part in the painting of the campervan at our warehouse and then hit the road. The basic theme of Six Degrees is they travel around meeting the people and seeing the sights of New Zealand.

The campervan was painted by a local artist who goes by the name of Misery and in part by the presenter Asha Gill (Just the roof).

Where they went and who they met we don’t know but by all accounts they had a great time.

We expect some great footage of the camper in action.

Lonely Planet New Zealand 2006 and Escape Campervans

The Escape campervan team are honoured to be included in the 2006 New Zealand Lonely planet.

The small piece refers to our unique slogan "the freedom to sleep around" and the colourful campervan art work.

BBC Holiday TV choose an Escape campervan

The BBC Holiday team have been travelling the world for years.
They are back in New Zealand.

The BBC crew arrived in Christchurch in February 2007 and headed off in an Escape Campervan to explore the South Island.
They chose an Escape camper to get a unique New Zealand experience and had a fantastic time.

We cannot wait to see the footage.
