Looking for an easy, budget-friendly way to road trip New Zealand? Our Escape Standard campers are compact, economical, and perfect for travellers who want all the basics without the extras.
These vehicles are a little older than our self-contained and self-contained PLUS fleet, and while they don’t include a fixed toilet or grey water facilities (so they are not certified self-contained), they still come fully equipped with cooking gear, bedding, and everything you need to explore New Zealand comfortably.
Because Escape operates a ‘No Hidden Costs’ policy, there are heaps of inclusions and only a couple of optional items (which are not included) for you to consider:
Insurance: You may want to upgrade your standard insurance so that you have nil liability when travelling with us.
Optional accessory items are not included but are available for hire (picnic table, BBQ,) check out our optional accessories.
Transmission guarantee is not included. We have a mix of both manual and automatic transmissions. You can state your preference when you book, but if you specifically NEED an automatic transmission, you can pay an ‘Automatic Transmission Guarantee Fee’ of $150.
