Price information
The total cost of your campervan hire will depend on your travel dates, hire length, pick-up and drop-off locations, and the campervan you choose.
Travel dates
Seasonal rates apply. If your intended travel dates cross over two different rate periods, your rental will be charged based on the number of days of campervan hire incurred in each period.
Collection and return
One-way hires between Auckland and Christchurch may incur an additional fee.
Hire length
Hire is charged by calendar day, rather than in 24-hour periods. For example, collecting your campervan on Saturday and returning it on Sunday counts as two days of hire, even if you only have the vehicle for 24 hours.
Campervan selection
Daily rates vary by model, with our Standard campervan offering the most affordable option.
Our minimum campervan hire periods depend on where you collect and return your vehicle:
- 5 days: Collecting and returning at the same depot (Auckland or Christchurch).
- 7 days: One-way hire between Auckland and Christchurch.

Inclusions vs additional costs
Your daily hire rate covers the essentials for your New Zealand road trip. Some optional extras and additional charges may apply depending on your booking.

Insurance bonds: Depending on your chosen insurance option, a refundable bond of NZ$1,500 or NZ$3,000 will be held on your credit card when you collect your campervan. No bond is required with Option C.
*Bond is refundable provided the van is returned in the agreed condition, at the agreed depot and on the agreed date.

Cancellations and refunds
Plans changed? If you need to cancel your confirmed campervan booking, the following cancellation fees apply.

Early returns and late collections
- Returning your campervan early: No refund is available for unused hire days once your trip has started.
- Collecting your campervan late: No refund is available for missed hire days, and these days cannot be added to the end of your booking.
